Having, People, Want, normal, join

Question by John M: is it normal that I want to join in with other people having sex?

When I hear about people my age, my friends having sex in college and when I actually hear them doing it I get jealous and I begin to feel sad and ugly. I feel sad, alone and ugly and I get jealous because I am 19 and a virgin and cannot see imagine myself doing it which is a shame.
I can talk to girls Ok and I am confident for my age but I feel like I am never going to lose my V because girls are rarely ever interested in me.
Has anyone else ever felt this way?
